Welcome to Fashion Cities Africa

If you can get down to Brighton on the 16th of June then do it. Nairobi-based style entrepreneurs Papa Petit and Velma Rossa (2manysiblings) are bringing their fabulous cool style to Brighton to celebrate the major new exhibition Fashion Cities Africa.

Too Many Siblings

Fashion Cities African will be an amazing opportunity to bring along your unwanted clothes and accessories on the night to style, swap, shop and upcycle following 2manysiblings top tips and inspiration. Ethical Fashion & Make brand AfroRetro will also run a print workshop to help you customise your clothes, bring your own or purchase clothes from our market stall on the night.

I have a personal adoration for thrifted fashion and style. It makes personal styling unpredictable and that much more imaginative. I’m kicking myself for not finding out about this event sooner. Nevertheless, I’m delighted to share the work of 2manysiblings, who have been inspiring me for years with their effort and enthusiasm to bring a more contemporary narrative to the African diaspora through style.
